The unique heritage-listed building housing the refurbished Pumphouse in Darling Harbour is an old Sydney favourite.
Once a well known microbrewery, the Pumphouse is pumping again with a huge choice of Australian, International and specialty beers. Also providing prime cuisine, communal food such as home-made pizzas and tapas all together with hip and cool music.

Located in Little Pier Street adjacent to the Sydney Entertainment Centre and revamped with cutting-edge industrial chic, the 300 square metre bar area features an outdoor terrace, one of Australia's longest steel bars, sophisticated but relaxed ottoman style seating areas, open kitchen with a wood-fired pizza oven that also char grills meat to
sizzling perfection and a contemporary dining area to match the modern Australian cuisine with a taste of the Mediterranean.

The Pumphouse this year has imported some fine international beers for you to try. Hailing from the Rogue Brewery in Oregon, USA, we bring to you a unique range of hand-crafted beers which are winning awards worldwide and taking the micro-brewing industry to a new level of quality. Rogue's mission is simple; "To brew the finest verietal ales in the world with an uncompromising devotion to Quality and the Art of Brewing." Throughout the summer months we will be bringing you the following beers, please come in to enquire about our tasting schedule for 2010.

Golden in colour with a dry hop floral aroma and intense hop bitterness supported by a big malty backbone which culminates into a hedonistic mouthful.

Rogue Kell's Irish Lager

An Irish style lager with a smooth mellow flavour and an apple crisp finish. The recipe was creating especially for the Rogue Brewery's good friends at Kell's Irish Restaurant and Pub.

Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar

A nutty twist to a traditional European Brown Ale. Dark brown in colour with a hazelnut aroma, a rich nutty flavour and a smooth malty finish.

Eugene City Tracktown Triple Jump Pale Ale

A northwest style Pale Ale. Light copper in colour. A refreshing Ale that focuses on Hop flavour, with a slight malt presence in the background.

The original Thunderbolt beer, a feature of the old Pumphouse Brewery and Tavern still continues to be brewed to it's original recipe exclusively for the Pumphouse. THUNDERBOLT is naturally brewed using specially selected ingredients. The result is a cloudy strong amber ale with a distinct hops flavour. This heady brew weighs in at around 6.4% alcohol so take extra care.
